Italian ceramic tiles are taking part for the very first time in Sia Guest 2008, the 58th International hospitality exhibition which will be held in the Rimini exhibition centre from 22 to 25 November. This important exhibition represents the new frontier of hospitality and is a key event for all industrial companies and service suppliers associated with the hospitality market, a sector where ceramic tiles enjoy a key position due to their outstanding design, performance, aesthetics, variety and quality and cutting-edge manufacturing technologies. Sia Guest is a showcase of innovation, places, trends and the constantly evolving projects in the hospitality market and is an unmissable appointment for designers, manufacturers, architects and designers who wish to keep abreast of the latest trends in the field of design.
Participation of the “Ceramic Tiles of Italy” mark in Sia Guest is part of the 2008 promotional initiatives for the Italian ceramic industry and demonstrates the importance of the hospitality market for this sector. With its abundance of hotels, restaurants, shops and wellness centres, the Adriatic coastal area that hosts this important exhibition is in fact one of the most lively markets for the Italian ceramic tile industry, whose products are ideal for this type of end use.
The stand designed by architects Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda, located in Hall C5 - stand O 98, will showcase the most recent Italian ceramic tiles for the furnishing and contract sectors and will also serve as an info point where visitors can find out more about the Italian ceramic tiles on display. This institutional presence at the show is an excellent opportunity to meet with all professionals in the hospitality market, which includes the sectors of furnishing, contract, textiles and floor coverings, equipment, technology, services, safety, plant engineering, wellness and bathroom furnishing.
Sia Guest is a unique event in its field in which innovation, design and the contract sector play a key role. At the last show in 2006 there were more than 48,000 visitors from 36 countries and some 180 Italian and foreign journalists. The 2008 edition is expected to host approximately 700 companies in a 90,000 square metre exhibition space. The show’s programme includes numerous non-commercial events where visitors are invited to discover new proposals in the hospitality sector. These include: exhibits and events devoted to innovation in the various exhibition sections and hosting leading names in the design world, from contract to wellness and from catering to technologies; workshops and continuous education seminars; theme itineraries and conferences on the most topical issues in the market; and meetings with key Italian and international players in the sector.
